Artistic Mission Statement
My mission as a dancer is to trust myself fully in every movement, embracing the freedom to connect audiences through real, compelling, and dynamic performances that reflect the depth of human experience. I strive to dance full out, with no restraints, to tell stories in their purest form. As an Asian-American biracial artist, I bring a unique perspective to my craft, blending diverse influences to create performances that are both powerful and authentic. With a versatile background in training and working across all styles of dance, I aim to adapt and evolve, pushing the boundaries of my artistry while staying true to the transformative power of movement. I honor and graciously draw upon the foundations that the greats, not the trends, have laid that enable me to perform and work in the capacity I am today. With every performance, I seek to inspire others, as others have done for me, to break free of their limitations and embrace the limitless possibilities of this intangible art form.
